A day at museum of comtemporary art :)

Last friday, our visit was amazing, we visited the metropolitan museum of comtemporary art. We started the tour, the first thing we saw antique jewelry as well tableware in that section. Then, we saw many images, crosses of Christ, all referring Catholicism to. For me the most was incredible medieval weapons, armor and protection for your horses. Another interesting part was the ruins and temples egyptians. It was an incredible and amazing tour.

A day at museum

Today I went to the museum and visit their different areas, It was majestic and amazing, The different exposures transport me to different times in history. The piece that caught all my attention  was the painting of George Washington crossing the river on a raft. The composition of the painting and the strong faces of men in it ... Who fight for their ideals turned me captivated and emotional.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Tha last Friday  we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art  is one of the most important museums of the city and of the world . It is a huge art museum and contains almost all periods and areas of the world . The Metropolitan has many sections between which we can see American paintings and sculpture, a vast collection of art from Ancient Near East that has spare even the Neolithic and Bronze Age, Art of Asia, Oceania and the Americas , including some pieces of Australian Aborigines with more than 40,000 years ...

We put special attention on painting Washington Crossing the Delaware
Emanuel Leutze
The point of Leutze 's effort was to embody the patriotic fervor embraced in the cause of freedom , symbolizing the creation of a new nation . If It Were not for soldiers and others in Original willing to risk Their Lives , Their fortunes , and Their all , would cause esta Have Been abandoned . Instead of painting exact reality , I have captured the spirit of American freedom . This freedom is born from the selfless sacrifice of all men , women, and children willing to lay down Their Lives to Provide freedom for future generations .

Do not miss this painting .

Hello everyone. This picture was taken on friday in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I loved this museum because it has many different cultures and, of course, also many different kinds of art. My favorite room was "Treasures from India" because here we found beautiful jewels and the brightness of these is amazing!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Last Friday, we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was amazing. When we arrived left our backpacks in a special area. After we bought the tickets and begin the tour. For various circumstances I missed and I leave the group; so I began my own tour. The first thing I observed section of Egyptian art, had some tabloids with ancient hieroglyphics. After visiting a section with many paintings that made reference to Catholicism. What I liked most was the section of armies and weapons, which had medieval and samurai armor. It was a great tour.
You need to go and see it for yourself, it looks better than in this picture!

Roosevelt Island visit.

                                                NYC 12/02/2014

Today I want to talk about the visit we made to Roosevelt Island.
Getting Here we headed to the corner of Second Avenue and 60th, where we boarded "Roosevelt Island Tramway" which runs every 15 minutes or so. The ride is free if you have a "Metro Card". "Roosevelt Island Tramway" offers excellent views of the whole area especially the Chrysler Building and the UN. Once in Roosevelt Island, walked around the island by a jetty that will offer excellent views of Manhattan, we also saw some ruins which apparently was a hospital that I existed there long time ago seems like a "Monster House" we take many photographs.
thank you
